StarkWare Shifts Focus to Revenue-Generating Products, Restructures Operations

StarkWare, a leading blockchain company known for its ZK-STARK technology, is undergoing significant changes as it moves from infrastructure projects to developing its own revenue-generating products. Co-founder Eli Ben-Sasson recently announced these strategic shifts in a social media post on Monday.

In a message to the StarkWare team, Ben-Sasson emphasized the company’s new goal of leading the blockchain industry. He highlighted the company’s position as technology leaders and their commitment to innovation.

He tweeted, “StarkWare is adapting its strategy, with a clear goal – to lead blockchain.”

The company is transitioning into a more product-focused organization, aiming to build high-value applications on its proprietary technology stack. Ben-Sasson stressed the need for this shift to foster a startup mentality and enhance product-market fit, although specific details about the workforce changes were not disclosed.

Ben-Sasson expressed confidence in the company’s future, stating, “We’ve redefined blockchain using our technology, but that’s not enough.”

He envisions StarkWare advancing novel revenue-generating products that leverage their cutting-edge technology.

As part of the restructuring, StarkWare will establish two separate business units focusing on monetizable applications and Starknet development. Each unit will have its own dedicated teams overseeing various operations.
